Yippee it’s summer!…….

Well it’s warmer…. and sunnier….today – that’ll do me.

We’re hurtling towards end of school school term and it’s time to start getting ready for the summer holidays.

I made this beech cover-up a couple of years ago for my daughter from an oversized white T shirt and decorated it with a tropical Island picture, she now often wears as a regular T shirt. This year they’re all over the shops –  so I thought I’d share it with you. It’s quite easy to do, with a little patience and it’s a great way of making a plain white t shirt lots more fun. The materials are cheap and easy to find – I used a plain white t-shirt from a supermarket pack of 3 and a tube of acrylic paint (available in tubes from lots of discount shops and not expensive). I’ve even provided the template.

If you’re craftily inclined you can add it to your list of holiday projects to do with the kids.
